Minors & guardianship
Age Requirements for Range Usage
- Shooters must be a minimum age of 12 years old.
- Shooters between the ages of 12-17 must be with a parent or legal guardian and under their direct supervision to shoot a handgun or long-gun.
- All shooters under the age of 18 must be accompanied on the same lane by a parent of legal guardian at all times on the range.
- If someone under the age of 18 comes in with an adult (21+)Â who is not the legal guardian or parent, a Temporary Guardiship Form must be provided using the steps below.
Adding your Child to your Account
Step 1:
A parent of the minor must create an account if they do not already have one.
Step 2:
Contact Triangle Shooting Academy via email or telephone, to have their child added to their account. Triangle Shooting Academy will need the following information:
- Parent’s Full Name (First, Middle, Last)
- Parent’s Email Address associated to their Triangle Shooting Academy account
- Parent’s Date of Birth
- Relationship to the Minor (Mother, Father)
- Minor’s Full Name (First, Middle, Last)
- Minor’s Date of Birth
- Minor’s Gender
- State that you need the Temporary Guardianship Consent Form
Step 3:
Once the minor has been added to the parent’s account, the parent will receive an email that directs the parent to complete the Minor’s Range Waiver and Agreement. Do not request the Temporary Guardianship Consent Form if you are shooting with your child. That form is ONLY for letting your child shoot with someone other than a parent.
