Transferring a Firearm to TSA from Another FFL Dealer

To have a firearm transferred to Triangle Shooting Academy please send an email to Transfers@TriangleShootingAcademy.com with your name and ‘FFL Transfer’ as the subject line. In the body of the email please have:

• Telephone number
• Order number from dealer (if applicable)
• Name of FFL Dealer
• Email and telephone number of FFL dealer to receive our FFL

Triangle Shooting Academy strives for excellent customer service so most firearm transfer emails are responded to the same day. However, please note that it may take longer. Due to the high volume of firearm transfers, we ask that you please keep all emails strictly to this format to expedite your process. If you have tracking information on an inbound transfer, please be aware that it may take up to 48 hours after delivery to process. We recommend that you call Triangle Shooting Academy to ensure your firearm is ready for pick-up prior to driving to the facility.

*Important Notice: Triangle Shooting Academy does not accept drop-ship firearm transfers.

Transferring a Firearm from TSA to Another FFL Dealer

To have a firearm transferred to another FFL dealer from Triangle Shooting Academy please send an email to Transfers@TriangleShootingAcademy.com with your name and ‘FFL Transfer Out’ as the subject line.
In the body of the email please have:

• Your first and last name
• Telephone number
• A brief description of the firearm (handgun, long gun, etc.)
• Name of FFL Dealer
• Email and telephone number of FFL

Once we receive this information Triangle Shooting Academy will reach out to your provided dealer to obtain a copy of their FFL. Upon receiving the company’s information, we will contact you to set up a time for you to come into our facility to drop off the firearm. You may bring in your own shipping materials but please do not bring the firearm into the facility already packaged. Please note that we will not ship any ammunition with transfers.

Person-to-Person Transfers

Due to Triangle Shooting Academy’s high volume and the information needed, person to person transfers are done by appointment only, typically Monday through Friday. Please email Transfers@TriangleShootingAcademy.com to set up appointments. During a person to person transfer, both parties must be present during the whole transaction, and the purchaser must comply with all State and Federal regulations for purchasing through an FFL.
