Form 1 Application

For those who are looking to learn about the process of a Form 1 Application, we have provided some info below. Unfortunately, Triangle Shooting Academy is unable to assist in this process because the Form 1 application is for the customer/guest to be the manufacturer of the SBR.

Instructions on how to complete an eForm 1 can be found in many places on the internet, including the ATF eForm site. The ATF has taken an extra step by adding a special link to their site for affected persons with these firearms, "Click here for ATF Final Rule 2021R-08F". Silencer Shop has also released a beta software program to assist individuals with completing an eForm 1. Below are some links that may help.

ATF eForm Site: eforms.atf.gov

*Please note that at this time the ATF Final Ruling has not been added to the Federal Register. Customers should not start an eForm 1 until after the Final Ruling has been added to the Federal Register because the ruling covers an exemption to the NFA Tax. This waiver of the tax will not go into effect until after the ruling is published and becomes official.
